About the Weekend School
The Society supports an active weekend school to teach the German language to children from Kindergarten age to 8th grade. Classes are held Saturday mornings during the regular school year at the center (see directions). The weekend school is open to the public.

Steuben Parade – Saturday, September 10, 2016
This is a great way to 'kick off' the new school year and show your enthusiasm for German! All children are invited to participate, even if they are new to our school. Children should wear dirndls or leiwl/lederhosen or anything “German-like”-black/red/gold. We hope you will make every effort to participate, since this is an excellent opportunity to teach your children to be proud of their heritage. Parents are encouraged to march along, too! Have fun visiting the German Fest on Lincoln Avenue after the parade!
